Top 5 Reasons why the Motorola Xyboard is a MUST HAVE for Travel! #VZWSS

As most of you know, I am a Verizon Midwest Savvy Saver. What that means is that I will get to review a couple of devices with Verizon’s 4G LTE Service (until October) and share the reviews with you, letting you make better choices on which devices and services are right for you!

I have pretty much integrated the Motorola Xyboard into my day to day life. I have shared how I have done this in my past posts about the Xyboard.

I have been on a few road trips since I have received my Motorola Xyboard in May. I have found that whenever we leave the house, and will need to be in the car for more than 30 mins., I MAKE SURE that Xyboard is all charged up and ready to join us!

The screen size on the Motorola Xyboard is the PERFECT size for all of the passengers sitting in the 2nd row AND 3rd row (if applicable). We have tried it out numerous times and my 3 children have NO issue in viewing the movies/TV shows from the car mount.
4G LTE Hotspot!
I will NEVER stop hyping up this AWESOME Verizon 4G LTE Hotspot! It is BY FAR my favorite feature, right now. People always think that using free wifi at restaurants and airports is safe…well, it’s not. The right hacker at the right time, can hack into that network and then, into your computer. If you have YOUR OWN hotspot, you don’t have to worry about that! Just lock your hotspot with a password and now YOU are the only one who can access it… or share the password with friends. Just be sure to change it regularly… :)
Water Resistant AND Gorilla Glass!
I have a little guy who LOVES his juice boxes. Sometimes, he puts a little too much squeeze on them and … you can guess what happens next. Juice, splashed and spilled everywhere. This happened to us this past month when we took a road trip down to visit my sister and her family. Jackson, my son, had the Xyboard and a juice box. Of course, he wasn’t paying attention to how much was still in the juice box and he blew into it and out came the juice, right on the Xyboard. I didn’t get upset because I KNEW it was water resistant. It beaded up real nice and I just wiped it clean! So, take it out by the pool, snap some pics or videos of the kids splashing! A few little splashes won’t hurt this tablet!
The Xyboard is also pretty heavy duty because of the Gorilla Glass that the screen is made out of. This stuff is pretty much scratch-proof! I can just carry it everywhere in my purse and not worry about pens, keys or anything else scratching it up.
