If you have been following Savin’ Green Mom for awhile, you will have noticed that my postings have gone WAY down. There is a big reason for that.
Just like many in this economy, I have had to get a job outside of the home, to help pay the bills.
Which, of course, takes up a BUNCH of my free time that I had to blog. I am left with only a few hours after work to clean my home, take care of my family and for blogging. I am sure you can guess which thing has been dropping off that list… blogging.
It’s really hard to work full-time and then come home and find deals and get them up and shared PLUS take care of my family and keep on top of my house work.
We are all still adjusting…even though it has been almost 2 months that I have had the job. It’s a growing process and I am sorry that I have not been around for all of you the way I used to be.
My local grocery store match-ups have disappeared, my daily 10+ posts have disappeared…the things that you all have relied on from me in the past couple years… all gone.
But… I am here to tell you that 2013 will bring them back. Yes! I will be bringing back my Festival Foods and Copps grocery store match-ups! AND some Walgreens and CVS deals, too! AND the usual HOT DEALS and amazing printable coupons!
There will be some changes, but they will be GOOD changes.

If you have to jump through hoops to get a deal or save $0.10 on cereal…I won’t be posting it. The easy and fun deals will stay, but if you have to go through more than 1 or 2 steps to grab a deal, if you think about the time and/or gas you waste on racing to grab the deal…is it really worth it? I don’t think so, SO…I won’t be posting those freaky deals.
The deals and savings that I will be posting will be short, sweet and FULL of savings!
If a HOT, NEW Coupon is released, I will tell you about it and post the link to the coupon. No more blah, blah, blah stories. Short, Sweet and to the point. No more stories about how much my child likes the product that the coupon is for… all of that blabber just wastes your time. I am all about helping you…NOT wasting your time!
As for my work schedule, I am off Mondays and Tuesdays and I can answer your questions on those days. I am usually home by 6pm every other night, so I will be here to help ya’ll after my family duties are “put to bed” :)
I want to thank you all for sticking with me through these crazy life changes. I pray for good things for ALL of us in 2013.

Hey girl, I think the majority of us don’t care about the “save 10¢ deal”. I know I used to do all the running but came to realize, it is not worth it! I would like to thank you for doing what you do, when you can do it. I know all about time restrictions, I took 3 months away from my blog. I have just started it back up yesterday. I was going through transitions at work and busy with my home life. Have fun while you can, don’t think we won’t continue to help you out on your FB page. Enjoy your family and keep them happy, then come back to help all of us!
