If you live in the Green Bay / Brown County, WI area and find yourself and your family in need this Winter/Christmas season, the Salvation Army in Green Bay, WI is there to help you, as much as they can!
They will begin the sign-ups and interviews for the Coats for Kids Campaign and Christmas Assistance Program on October 1, 2012. You will want to call (920) 497-7053 ext. 356 for more information.
(Please note: Parents can also sign their children/family up for Christmas Assistance at the same time of their Coats for Kids interview)
To sign up for the Green Bay, WI Salvation Army Coats for Kids and/or Christmas Assistance Program (toys, books, or food) parents must bring:

- A picture ID for all adults in the household
- Proof of their current Brown County address (rent receipt, utility bill)
- Birth certificate or other verification of birthdates for all children (birth certificate, vaccination record, birth announcement)
Distribution for Coats for Kids:
Coats for Kids will be distributed on Saturday, November 10, 2012, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. All participants must have signed up at one of the interview dates. Walk in families at distribution cannot be accommodated.

Parents must bring the yellow form, given to them at their interview and a picutre ID to be able to pick out coats with their children.
Distribution for the Christmas Assistance occurs at Shopko Hall, in Green Bay on December 18 and December 19, 2012. All participants are assigned a pick up time when they come for the interview process.
Parents/adults must bring their pink form, given to them at the interview, and picture ID in order to pick up the Christmas Assistance items (toys, books, food), on the day of their pick-up, either December 18 or 19, 2012.
