Cooking with the Motorola Xyboard! #VZWSS

As most of you know, I am a Verizon Midwest Savvy Saver. What that means is that I will get to review a couple of devices (until October) and share the reviews with you, letting you make better choices on which devices are right for you!
I have pretty much integrated the Motorola Xyboard into my day to day life. I have shared how I have done this in my past posts about the Xyboard.

Cooking with the Motorola Xyboard!

No, I didn’t use the Motorola Tablet as a cutting board. BUT it DID come in handy in the kitchen!
You are probably wondering HOW in the WORLD would an electronic device such as the Motorola Xyboard tablet be handy in the kitchen…Well, I will tell you!

I was in the middle of making my super yummy, special recipe spaghetti sauce (nope. NOT sharing the recipe! I can’t! It’s secret) and JUST remembered that we had NO garlic bread. Darn it. Really. What spaghetti dinner is complete without garlic bread?
Then I remembered I had pretty much EVERYTHING to make my own! French Bread loaves, fresh garlic, real butter, olive oil and super yummy mozzarella cheese blend.

I grabbed the Motorola Xyboard, opened up the internet browser app and searched for a to die for garlic cheesy bread recipe. It brought me to FoodNetwork.com and I found a recipe that sounded perfect for the ingredients that I had on hand. When I make a recipe, I like to follow it word for word, step by step, right down to the last little detail. To do this, it was essential to have the recipe RIGHT within reach. The Xyboard did the job! I was able to scroll through the recipe, step by step, RIGHT while I was making my garlic bread! It really was extremely handy to have the recipe right there, in color and in all of it’s interactive glory! Thanks to the Motorola Xyboard!

Seriously. CHECK OUT THAT PERFECT GARLIC CHEESY BREAD! Here’s the proof!
