DealChicken follows the sound of laughter to the Building for Kids Children’s Museum in Appleton. Kids and adults alike will find plenty to smile about as they wander through this interactive learning experience. A sampling of activities includes putting on hospital scrubs and caring for life-like baby dolls, creating works of art in the DaVinci Studio and trying on the gear that firefighters and construction workers use. The museum also hosts traveling exhibits. Storyland is in the spotlight from now to January 27, 2013. This exhibit allows kids to enter the magical world of seven well-loved storybooks including “Where’s Spot?,” “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom,” and “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.” 

Established in November 1992, Building for Kids Children’s Museum underwent an expansion and renovation in 2006. Almost 110,000 people visit the museum every year.
